The brokerage assigns a broker to your transaction and sends you an email payment receipt and package of forms and information needed to complete your listing on the MLS. Your listing will appear on the broker website within one business day of receipt of your completed paperwork and on the nationwide MLS network within a few business days thereafter. Your assigned broker still functions as your general point of contact in a no commission real estate relationship. He will represent you during contract negotiation and contingency fulfillment and at any other point during the transaction in which your interests are at stake. Under the no commission real estate arrangement you, as seller, are allowed to place a For Sale By Owner sign on your lawn and show your home to potential buyers and their agents without your broker present.
