Mobility as a service discussion
Boundaries have all but disappeared with the advent of the global marketplace. IT departments must stay on top of todays constantly shifting office technology; the biggest shift underway in the early 21st Century is towards worker mobility. Marketplace competition now takes place on an international stage, and employees must be able to pack up and go wherever needed while remaining connected to the company network. Compliance and security could be a nightmare without a mobility as a service platform serving as the network ringmaster. A good mobility as a service platform needs to combine infrastructure with operations tools and security and compliance applications to ensure reliable connectibility, functionality and security for a cloud based network.
